Level 2 Diploma in Care (RQF) is suitable for learners working in a wide range of roles in a health and adult care settings.
This qualification will support learners to develop skills and knowledge needed to provide frontline care for vulnerable adults within their own homes, day care centres, residential and nursing homes and other healthcare settings.
Every learner will be allocated an industry experienced, dedicated assessor who will support and guide you through the assessment process to ensure that you are informed and motivated to complete the course in good time.
There are no specific entry requirements however learners should have a minimum of level one in literacy and numeracy or equivalent.
The knowledge tasks are a series of questions and answers. The questions are accessed via an online e-portfolio which gives your assessor real time access to your work in order that it can be reviewed, assessed and feedback issued as soon as it has been completed. Alternatively, the traditional paper-based delivery system can be used for those who prefer to do so.
On-site assessment is required in order to complete the qualification but currently, this criteria is being fulfilled by witness testimonies provided by the registered Manager due to the Coronavirus restrictions on access to the workplace to none essential workers.
Successful learners can complete a relevant apprenticeship or progress to other qualifications such as the Level 3 Diploma in Adult Care.
